Every day F&I managers encounter the same objections from customers. Why not prepare for them?
Some people say you should expect and prepare for the unexpected. Well, that may be true when you are not executing the same processes, overcoming the same challenges, and hoping for the same results every day. Day after day dealership personnel try to sell cars with profitable results. And day after day customers come to their stores wanting to get the highest amount for their trade, put zero down, stay at the same payment, receive the lowest APR, avoid buying any additional protection, and be out the door in an hour or less. Experience v. Expertise
Most people agree that in order to be an expert at something you need a great deal of experience doing that “thing.” But does having a lot of experience automatically make you an expert? A recent article in TIME magazine called “The Science of Experience” by John Cloud indicates this might not be the case. [ more ]
First AIM Class Graduates
Service Group’s Automotive Industry Management (AIM) program recently presented its first class with their certificates of completion. AIM, Service Group’s dealer candidate educational program, is a year-long curriculum designed to teach young people with aspirations of becoming dealers the fundamental skills needed to run a successful dealership.
